Surprise, Ariz. – The OUAZ men's soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season as the Spirit prepare to build on the foundation established during the 2025 campaign.
OUAZ men's soccer team finished the 2025 season with a 5-9-2 overall record and a 4-7-2 mark in GSAC play. Despite facing a challenging conference schedule, the Spirit showed resilience throughout the year, earning key victories over Park-Gilbert, Soka, Life Pacific, and The Master's. The team posted a 4-4-2 record at Spirit Field, highlighted by four shutout wins, and ended the season on a high note with an exciting 3-2 comeback victory over The Master's.
Building on the experience gained last season, the Spirit are eager to begin the 2026 campaign. After hosting scrimmages against Yavapai and Glendale Community College, OUAZ officially opens the season at home against Stanton on August 20 before heading out for a three-game road stretch. The Spirit return to Spirit Field on September 3 to host Justice, and conference play begins a week later on September 10 with a GSAC home opener against Embry-Riddle.
The 2026 schedule features key conference matchups against Arizona Christian, Park Gilbert, Benedictine Mesa, Hope International, Life Pacific, The Master's, Soka, and La Sierra. With valuable experience from last season and a talented returning group, the Spirit are looking to take the next step and compete for a stronger finish as they prepare for another exciting year of OUAZ men's soccer.
