SURPRISE, Ariz. — The Spirit put on an impressive display on both ends of the field, earning a commanding 3-0 win over Life Pacific in GSAC play. From start to finish, the team showed energy, precision, and composure to secure the shutout victory.
The Spirit put together a dominant performance in their 3-0 win over Life Pacific. Zen Courtois set the tone early, finding the back of the net in the 19th minute to give the Spirit the lead. The early momentum carried through halftime, as Jesus Castillo doubled the advantage with a well-placed finish in the 48th minute.
Pablo Vasquez capped off the strong showing with a goal in the 67th minute, assisted by Thaddeus Heckman and Courtois. The Spirit controlled possession throughout and kept the Warriors on their heels, securing a convincing shutout and another key conference win.
This victory also marked a special milestone for the Spirit men's soccer program — their 40th home win in program history. Over the years, Spirit Field has become a place of pride and dominance, where the team consistently rises to the occasion. The achievement reflects the program's continued growth, resilience, and commitment to excellence in front of their home crowd.
