Student Worker Job Descriptions

VIDEO STREAM TEAM VIDEO PRODUCTION / SOCIAL MEDIA / PHOTOGRAPHER
PRODUCER -- Operates the video stream control system. Switches between cameras, runs commercials, updates graphic overlays, manages replays.

CAMERA OPERATOR -- Operates a camera during the broadcast.

PLAY-BY-PLAY BROADCASTER -- Serves as the play-by-play broadcaster during a game broadcast.

GAME ANALYST -- Serves and the game analyst during a game broadcast.

SIDELINE REPORTER -- Serves as the sideline reporter during a game broadcast.

All members of the video stream team can also work with the video production/social media team during the week to help with video and social media creation.
VIDEO PRODUCTION -- Work during the week to create highlight videos, player profile videos, coach interviews, and video board content. During games will shoot video from the sidelines.

SOCIAL MEDIA -- Helps create the look and design of the team and athletic department social media channels. Duties will include updating during games and throughout the week. Will work with the VIDEO PRODUCTION crew to coordinate interviews with coaches and student-athletes, create videos, etc.

PHOTOGRAPHER -- Take photos are home events for the department Flickr account, website, and social media. Assists with team head shots and media days.
GAME PRODUCTION EVENT MANAGEMENT
VIDEO BOARD OPERATOR -- Will manage all video board content during a game. Role includes creating the game script, loading content into the system, and working with the VIDEO PRODUCTION and SOCIAL MEDIA team to create new content for each game.

MUSIC OPERATOR -- Plays all music during home games. Is responsible for creating a music game script for each game. Will also be required to manage all music in the system and making sure it meets all the standards of the OUAZ music policies.

DIRECTOR -- Will direct the game by making sure the correct videos, music, etc., are played during the proper time/breaks of a game. Is responsible for creating the game script and working with all the various areas to have all the needed content for an in-house production.
TICKETING -- Uses ticket scanners to check-in guests at the gates. Will also help guests purchase tickets through the online ticketing system.

USHER -- Assist guests with finding their seats and answering questions about our facilities. Helps with crowd control and flow.

GAME STAFF -- Duties include floor sweeper, ball shaggers, door monitoring, and other assignments as needed.
