SURPRISE, Ariz. – With momentum from recent postseason success, the OUAZ Women's Soccer team is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season — and the road to the NAIA National Tournament begins now. The Spirit have officially released their upcoming schedule, which features 18 total matches, including 10 home contests at Spirit Field, and a strong mix of GSAC rivals and competitive non-conference opponents.
The season begins on the road with a tough Midwest swing, as OUAZ travels to Indiana to face Bethel (Ind.) on August 23, followed by a matchup against Marian (Minn.) on August 25 — two early tests that will set the tone for the year.
The Spirit return to Surprise to kick off their home slate with back-to-back non-conference matchups against Carroll (Aug. 30) and Nelson AZ (Sept. 4), providing fans with an early chance to rally behind their squad.
GSAC play begins at home on September 11 when OUAZ hosts Benedictine Mesa, followed by a short trip down the road to face Park Gilbert on September 13. Another big date comes on September 27, when the Spirit host Nelson AZ on Senior Night — a chance to celebrate the leadership and contributions of the program's upperclassmen.
The conference schedule heats up through October with matchups against Arizona Christian, Soka, Hope International, Life Pacific, and The Master's, all of which will play key roles in shaping the GSAC standings.
One of the season's most anticipated rivalries returns as well: OUAZ and Embry-Riddle will square off twice — once at home on September 18 and again in Prescott on October 16. The two programs have a history of postseason battles, and both matches are expected to carry major implications.
The regular season ends with a high-stakes home finale on October 31 against The Master's, which could determine GSAC Tournament seeding and postseason positioning.
