Three OUAZ men's soccer players have been named to the GSAC All-Conference team on Friday ahead of the conference postseason. Jamiane Turner, Aleem Barclay, and Ingram Kusaloka all earned the honor, contributing to an exciting season for the Spirit.
This is the second time that Turner has earned All-Conference honors, leading the Spirit in goals both goals and assists, getting 10 each. The senior had at least one point in 11 games in 2024, led the GSAC in assists, and placed second in goals among all players.
For the second consecutive season, Barclay finds himself on the All-Conference list, being a key defender in a team that had a conference-leading nine shutouts in 2024. Barclay also had his best season offensively from the back line, scoring two goal and adding an assist while keeping the ball out of his own net.
Kusaloka helped drive an exciting OUAZ offense, scoring seven goals to go with three assists for his first All-Conference honor. The English senior finished third in the GSAC in goals, and had a pair of multi-goal games.
This season marked the fourth straight year in which multiple OUAZ players earned All-GSAC honors. This is the third time in four season that three members of the Spirit were named to the team.
