Surprise, Ariz. – The OUAZ men's soccer team came up just short on Monday night, falling 0-1 to Southern Oregon in non-conference action at Spirit Field.

The match remained scoreless through the first half as both sides battled for control. The Raiders broke through in the second half with the game's lone goal, and despite a late push from the Spirit, OUAZ couldn't find the equalizer.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Garcia delivered a strong outing for the Spirit, keeping his team in the match with eight saves on the night.
