The OUAZ track and field team traveled to Paradise Valley Community College to participate in their meet on Saturday.
 
Allison Maethner had a new personal best of 1:52.85 in the 600m final while finishing eighth.
 
Anastazia Uwingeneye also had a personal best of 9.47 meters in the Women's Shot Put event where she finished in ninth place.
 
Sophomore Fotis Amegangee came in fourth in the Men's Triple Jump with a personal best of 13.15 meters.
 
"The team did very well for our first time competing this year," Coach Ben Quigley said after the match. "This was a great meet to shake some of the rust off before going up to NAU next week."
