Surprise, Arizona - OUAZ Baseball (11-10-1) heads to Santee, California this weekend to play a four-game series against conference opponent San Diego Christian (3-19). 

The two teams will play a doubleheader on both Friday and Saturday, with only the first three games counting as a GSAC matchup. OUAZ is coming off a tough loss versus New Mexico State, while the Hawks have lost their last nine games.

The Spirit hold a 6-7 record all-time against SDCC, but currently ride a three-game winning streak against them headed into tomorrow. OUAZ is 3-1 in Santee since 2017. 

Despite the pitching struggles, the Spirit offense continues to put up runs. They have six separate qualified hitters who have posted at least a .300 or better average through 22 games. The team is averaging 6.8 runs a game.
