Spirit Win Road Finale

ROCKLIN, Calif. – The OUAZ women's tennis team moved into second place in the GSAC standings with a 4-0 win at William Jessup in their road finale on Saturday afternoon.

OUAZ (9-7, 4-1 GSAC) earned all four points in singles matches as the doubles matches were not contested.

Johanna Sotelo-Mena won her sixth consecutive match with a 6-1, 6-1 decision on the No. 2 court. Antonia Kostoff added another 6-1, 6-1 victory for the Spirit in the No. 3 match. A 6-0, 6-3 win from Paulette Careaga in the No. 4 match was the third point, with Cassidy Clark scoring the fourth by winning the No. 5 match, 6-1, 6-3.

The Spirit has three matches remaining before the GSAC Tournament. The first of those is against San Diego Christian on Friday at the Paseo Tennis Center.
