OUAZ 7, University of Dallas (Mar. 13)
The Spirit set the tone with a commanding 7-0 sweep over the University of Dallas. OUAZ controlled every aspect of the match, beginning with a clean sweep in doubles. Antonia Kostoff and Michelle Pugh rolled to a 6-1 win at No. 1, while Martina Antich and Sienna Johnson delivered a flawless 6-0 victory at No. 2. Nikola Rusinova and Yasmine Hawkins matched that dominance with a 6-0 win at No. 3 to secure the doubles point. In singles, the Spirit were just as impressive, sweeping all six courts in straight sets. Antich led the way at No. 1 with a 6-1, 6-1 win, while Pugh and Kostoff each posted shutout victories. Later that day, OUAZ faced Our Lady of the Lake and ran into another strong opponent, falling 0-4. The Spirit were unable to gain momentum in doubles, dropping all three matches. In singles, multiple courts were tightly contested and left unfinished, but Our Lady of the Lake secured wins at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 to clinch the match.
OUAZ 3, Texas A&M Texarkana 4 (Mar. 15)
OUAZ closed the trip with a tightly contested battle against Texas A&M Texarkana, narrowly falling 3-4 in one of their strongest performances of the weekend. The Spirit came out strong in doubles, as Antich and Pugh secured a win at No. 1 and Kostoff and Johnson added another victory at No. 2 to claim the doubles point. In singles, Pugh delivered a solid straight-set win at No. 2, while Kostoff remained dominant with another straight-set victory at No. 3. The remaining matches were hard-fought, but Texarkana edged out the final points to take the match.
