OUAZ Sweeps College of Idaho

SURPRISE, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's tennis team closed out its three-match homestand with a 7-0 win over The College of Idaho on Wednesday evening at the Surprise Tennis Complex.

OUAZ (8-7) won all three doubles matches to secure the match's first point. With the No. 1 and No. 2 teams earning 6-0 wins, the No. 3 team of Cassidy Clark and Lyndsee Fleury won 7-6 (5).

Veronica Gallardo in the No. 6 singles and then Clark in the No. 5 singles scored the next two points for the Spirit with matching 6-0, 6-0 wins. Giulia Leali clinched the win with a 6-2, 6-1 win on the No. 1 court.

The Spirit will now travel to Rocklin, California, where they face William Jessup on Saturday at 2 p.m.
