THIS WEEK FOR MEN'S SOCCER
The Spirit will play their final two out-of-state, non-conference road games Tuesday and Thursday in California. Tuesday sees OUAZ in Thousand Oaks as they take on Cal Lutheran, then the Spirit will head over to Lancaster to face Antelope Valley on Thursday.

AGAINST THE OPPOSITION
Tuesday marks the first meeting between the Spirit and Cal Lutheran.

OUAZ has played Antelope Valley in each of its two season in program history. The Spirit defeated the Pioneers in both matchups.

SPIRIT NOTES
Cristian Gennaro leads the team with seven goals and 15 points. In national rankings, he is tied for eighth in points and tied for fourth in goals in all of NAIA.

Gennaro is one of three players on OUAZ to have double digit points. Samuel George has 13 and Edoardo Venutolo.

The Spirit are good at setting each other up, as 11 players have recorded an assist, and seven players have multiple assists on the season.

The Spirit have outscored Antelope Valley 5-3 in the two matchups between the programs.

The Spirit finish up the non-conference portion of its schedule next week when they take on Benedictine Mesa on Wednesday, September 18, in Mesa. Then OUAZ heads home to take on Embry-Riddle Friday, September 20.
