OUAZ Men's Basketball Unveil 2025-26 Schedule

SURPRISE, Ariz. - With a new season on the horizon, the OUAZ Spirit have announced their 2025-26 schedule — a competitive slate of 28 contests that features marquee non-conference opportunities, crucial GSAC matchups, and 11 home games at Faith Arena. The Spirit are looking to build momentum from last year's campaign and make a strong push in the GSAC standings.

The season tips off at home on October 29 against Northern New Mexico, giving Spirit fans an early look at the 2025 squad. OUAZ opens the trip with an exhibition test against the University of Montana on Nov. 5, followed by back-to-back matchups against Montana Tech (Nov. 7) and Montana Western (Nov. 8).The busy stretch continues with road contests at Stanton (Nov. 14) and Nobel (Nov. 15) before opening GSAC play at Arizona Christian on Nov. 20.

November closes with another road matchup against Nelson (Nov. 29) before OUAZ dives into a December slate that blends GSAC and non-conference action. The Spirit will travel to The Master's (Dec. 4) and Hope International (Dec. 6) before returning home for back-to-back games against Park Gilbert (Dec. 11) and Nelson (Dec. 13). The team then caps the calendar year with two neutral-site contests at the Cactus Classic, facing Rocky Mountain (Dec. 19) and Westcliff (Dec. 20).

The new year begins at home on January 3 when the Spirit host Arizona Christian in a rematch of their GSAC opener. OUAZ then heads to California for consecutive GSAC challenges at La Sierra (Jan. 6) and Life Pacific (Jan. 8). The Spirit return to Faith Arena to host The Master's (Jan. 15), then travel to Benedictine Mesa (Jan. 17) and welcome Embry-Riddle for a rivalry matchup at Faith Arena (Jan. 24). The month concludes with a home contest against Justice (Jan. 27) and a road matchup at Park Gilbert (Jan. 31).

The closing stretch in February will be pivotal, as OUAZ looks to secure postseason positioning. The Spirit face La Sierra (Feb. 3) and Life Pacific (Feb. 5) at home, then hit the road for a return matchup at Justice (Feb. 10). The Spirit return home for a game against Benedictine Mesa on Feb. 14, followed by a rivalry clash at Embry-Riddle on Feb. 19. The regular season concludes on Feb. 21 at Faith Arena against Hope International, a game that could carry major GSAC Tournament implications.

With a strong mix of early-season road challenges, high-profile GSAC battles, and rivalry matchups, the 2025-26 campaign promises to deliver another exciting season of Spirit basketball.
