Box Score PRESCOTT, Ariz. — The Spirit came up short on Saturday, falling 0-3 to Embry-Riddle in conference action despite a strong effort throughout the match.
Embry-Riddle opened the scoring in the 16th minute to take an early lead, and the Spirit worked to respond with several promising stretches of possession. The Eagles added to their advantage in the second half with goals in the 60th and 62nd minutes to put the game out of reach.
The Spirit continued to battle until the final whistle, showing resilience and effort on both ends of the field. Despite the setback, the match offered valuable experience as the team looks to bounce back in their next GSAC contest.
