Surprise, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season as the Spirit prepare to build on the foundation established during the 2025 campaign.

OUAZ finished the 2025 season with a 7-11 overall record and a 5-8 mark in Great Southwest Athletic Conference (GSAC) play while facing one of the conference's toughest schedules, including several nationally ranked opponents. After opening the season with three challenging matches, the Spirit responded with back-to-back shutout victories over Justice and Benedictine Mesa, setting the tone for a season defined by resilience.

The Spirit closed the non-conference portion of the season with a 9-1 Senior Night victory over Nelson University before carrying momentum into the final stretch of conference play. In GSAC competition, OUAZ earned consecutive road victories over Benedictine Mesa and Arizona Christian while completing season sweeps of both opponents. Defensively, the Spirit recorded four shutout victories throughout the season, providing a strong foundation to build upon heading into 2026.

The 2026 season opens with back-to-back road matches against Rocky Mountain and Carroll before the Spirit return to Spirit Field for their home opener on Sept. 10 against the GSAC Regular Season Champions, Embry-Riddle to start conference play.

OUAZ continues GSAC play with a road match at Arizona Christian before returning home to host Park Gilbert on Sept. 16. The non-conference slate also features two home matchups against Justice on Oct. 13, and Nelson University on Sept. 22, which will serve as the team's Senior Night celebration.

The conference schedule includes home-and-home series with Arizona Christian, Benedictine Mesa, Embry-Riddle, and Park Gilbert. The Spirit will also host defending GSAC Tournament Champion The Master's, and La Sierra while traveling to Hope International as part of another competitive conference schedule.

With valuable experience returning and momentum from several key conference performances a season ago, the Spirit enter the 2026 season focused on climbing the GSAC standings and earning a postseason berth.
