VERRADO, ARIZ. – The OUAZ women's golf team wrapped up its fall schedule on Tuesday, taking part in the Firestorm Fall Invitational. In the event hosted by Arizona Christian, the Spirit had two players finish inside the top 15 as the team played with good teams from the NAIA's West Coast.

Jessie Sporle and Jayda Sidney finished a shot apart from each other, and found themselves in the top 15 at the end of the two-round event. Sporle had a really solid first round, shooting a +2 and starting Tuesday in contention for the individual championship. Chiara Israng was also four shots better in her final 18 holes than the opening round.
