Taylor Wilczek had an incredible debut season for OUAZ, and her efforts were recognized on many different levels. The Arizona native earned one more award from the Women's Golf Coaches Association, as the All-American was named the NAIA Freshman of the Year.
Wilczek was the top player for OUAZ this season, as she posted four wins this season, as well as eight top-3 finishes. Wilczek capped off her amazing debut year with a fifth-place finish at the NAIA National Championship and making the All-Tournament Team.
Wilczek is the first player in program history to earn WGCA Freshman of the Year honors. Earlier in May, Wilczek was the first player in OUAZ history to earn a WGCA All-American nomination, as well as the first to be named to the NAIA All-American First Team.
