SURPRISE, ARIZ. – The 18th-ranked OUAZ women's golf team hosted its home Fall event this week, getting in 54 holes over the two-day event. Jayda Sidney finished inside of the top 15, and the Spirit finished 4th in a solid field of competition.
Sidney was the top OUAZ performer, posting six Birdies and an Eagle in three rounds. Jessie Sporle and Jenney Kim finished tied for 16th, and Kim had the second-best round in the final 18 holes on Monday, scoring a 73 (+1).
Chiara Israng was able to put up four Birdies in the tournament, including back-to-back on holes 11 and 12 in the first round. Marissa Dollinger competed as well, putting together great holes throughout her three rounds.
The Spirit are set to get back on the course next in the Valley, heading to the Firestorm Fall Invitational at Verrado Golf Club.
