PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The OUAZ women's golf team got back on the course again this week, competing in the Embry-Riddle Fall Invitational 90 minutes North of home. The Spirit had three players finished in the top 15 as they finished fourth as a team.
Chiara Israng finished tied for eighth, using a great final round of 76 (+5) to jump up the individual leaderboard on Tuesday. Jayda Sidney used consistent play, including shooting one shot better in the second round than the first, to finish 12th. Jessie Sporle had a decent first round on Monday, and eventually landed tied for 15th.
The Spirit will wrap up its Fall schedule in the first week of November, taking part in the Firestorm Fall Invitational. The first round of the event hosted by Arizona Christian takes place on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Verrado Golf Club in Buckeye.
