Spirit Win at Marymount, 4-0

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. – The OUAZ women's tennis team picked up a 4-0 win at Marymount California on Saturday afternoon to complete its weekend road trip.
 
Using wins from Johanna Sotelo-Mena & Paulette Careaga (7-5) on the No. 1 court and Giulia Leali & Antonia Kostoff (6-1) on the No. 2 court, OUAZ (6-6, 3-1 GSAC) scored the doubles point.
 
Sotelo-Mena earned a 6-1, 6-0 win in the No. 2 singles and Kostoff secured a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 3 singles. Veronica Gallardo tallied the final point for the Spirit, winning the No. 5 singles 6-0, 6-0.
 
OUAZ is home for three matches during the coming week, starting against Colorado State-Pueblo on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Surprise Tennis Complex.
