SURPRISE, Ariz. - The Ottawa University Arizona women's tennis team defeated Paradise Valley Community College on Saturday afternoon by a final of 9-0 at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex.

Brad Louderback. "We fought and competed with heart and spirit. We are very proud of their effort and attitude and hope to build on this victory."
It was a quick day for the Spirit, as they defeated the Pumas from PVCCÂ 9-0. OUAZ won their doubles matches 8-1, 8-0, and 8-1. In singles play, only two match-ups went to a tie-breaker.
The Spirit women return to action next Friday and Saturday the 16th and 17th. OUAZÂ will face San Diego City College on Friday the 16th at 6pm at the Phoenix Tennis Center. They will then square off against Hope International University on Saturday the 17th at 12pm, before facing Arizona Christian University at 5:30pm.
