Chandler, Ariz. – OUAZ Women's Volleyball closed out their non-conference match in dominant fashion Tuesday night, sweeping Justice 3-0 (25-11, 25-8, 25-15) at Dr. Paul Chinchen Court. The victory improved the Spirit to 12-5 overall on the season as OUAZ won its second straight match heading into a return to conference play.
The Spirit controlled the match from start to finish, holding the Lions to just 10 kills and a -.153 hitting percentage while posting eight service aces, 33 kills, and 48 digs in the straight-set victory.
Set 1:Â
OUAZ wasted little time taking control of the match, opening the first set on a 9-0 run behind kills from Hannah Allman, McKenna Diederich, and Elisa Saunders.
The Spirit continued to pressure Justice with strong serving and aggressive play at the net. Addi Adams delivered a service ace during a 6-0 stretch, while Gloria Moye and Delaney Wilson helped anchor the block. OUAZ led by as many as 14 points before closing out the set 25-11.

The second set was even more one-sided as the Spirit turned a close 3-3 score into a commanding lead.
Kills from Jenna Sarff, Bella Reach, Kellen Fitzgerald, Rylie Henige, and Allison Pivonka fueled the offense, while Zoey White and Sydney Macias each contributed service aces. OUAZ held Justice to just two kills in the frame and limited the Lions to a -.269 hitting percentage en route to a 25-8 victory.

Justice put together its best effort of the night in the final set, keeping the score close early before the Spirit pulled away.
Marielle Ramos provided a spark with a service ace and three kills, while Pivonka, Tiana Fisher, Gia Janke, and Henige added key points offensively. A late run behind Adams' serving stretched the lead, and Ramos delivered the match-clinching kill to complete the sweep.
