San Dimas, Calif. – OUAZ Women's Volleyball responded in impressive fashion Saturday afternoon, defeating Life Pacific 3-1 on the road. The Spirit improved to 11-5 overall and 7-1 in GSAC play after winning three of the four sets against the Warriors.

Kills from Keira Adrian, Elisa Saunders, Delaney Wilson, Gloria Moye, and McKenna Diederich fueled the offense, while several timely blocks helped slow the Warriors' attack. The Spirit carried that momentum into the second frame, racing out to a 7-1 advantage behind strong serving and aggressive attacking.
Kellen Fitzgerald recorded two service aces during the set, while Addi Adams and Michele Galindo each added an ace of their own. Gloria Moye controlled play at the net, and Adrian delivered several key kills as OUAZ maintained its lead throughout the frame en route to a 25-19 victory.
Set 3:Â
Life Pacific mounted its best push of the afternoon in the third set.
Rylie Henige provided a spark for the Spirit offense with multiple kills, while Jenna Sarff and Allison Pivonka also contributed key points. The Warriors gradually built separation midway through the set and held off a late OUAZ rally to take the frame 25-22 and extend the match.
Set 4:Â
With a chance to finish the match, OUAZ produced its strongest offensive set of the day.
The Spirit tallied 18 kills in the set, led by Saunders, Adrian, Wilson, Moye, and Pivonka. Adrian added a service ace during a key run that helped OUAZ build a five-point advantage.
