SURPRISE, Ariz. — The OUAZ Spirit women's basketball team faced a tough and physical challenge against the Arizona Christian Firestorm in a game that stayed close from start to finish. With both teams trading momentum and responding to each other's runs, the Spirit relied on strong individual efforts and consistent toughness throughout all four quarters.

1st quarter (25-18): The Spirit opened the game with confidence in a tightly contested first quarter. Jana Solee led the way with an impressive 10 points and added a block on the defensive end, while Tiana Sledge followed with 7 points to keep OUAZ right in the mix early.
