Surprise, Ariz. — The OUAZ Spirit women's basketball team earned a strong win over the Embry-Riddle Eagles, turning a tightly contested game into a late victory with a decisive fourth-quarter push. After three quarters of back-and-forth action, the Spirit elevated their play when it mattered most to secure the win.

1st quarter (19-13): The opening quarter was a back-and-forth battle as both teams traded baskets. Jana Solee got off to a hot start, scoring 11 points, while Brianna Humphries helped facilitate the offense with 2 assists as OUAZ stayed even early.

2nd quarter (32-30): The close contest continued in the second quarter. Tiana Sledge led the Spirit with 8 points and added a rebound, while Payton Sheridan contributed 3 points and 2 rebounds to keep the game tight heading into halftime.

3rd quarter (51-51): The third quarter remained closely contested, with neither team able to gain separation. Solee added 9 points and a rebound, Sledge chipped in 6 points and 1 rebound, and Morgen Delap recorded 2 assists to keep the offense moving.

4th quarter (70-63): The Spirit found another gear in the fourth quarter, pulling away to secure the win. Solee led the charge with 7 points and a rebound, while Luka Wouters battled on the glass with 3 rebounds to help OUAZ close out the victory.
