Surprise, Ariz. — The OUAZ Spirit women's basketball team faced a tough challenge against The Master's Mustangs, struggling to find offensive rhythm early and playing from behind for much of the game. Despite a strong showing in the final quarter, the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

1st quarter (9-15): The opening quarter featured slow offensive starts from both teams, with points coming at a premium. Jana Solee led the Spirit with 5 points, helping keep OUAZ within reach in the early stages.

4th quarter (45-73): The Spirit showed resilience and fight in the fourth quarter, making a late push in an attempt to close the gap. Solee powered the effort with 12 points in the final period, but the comeback came up short as The Master's held on for the win.
