Surprise, Ariz. — The OUAZ Spirit women's basketball team faced a tough challenge against The Master's Mustangs, struggling to find offensive rhythm early and playing from behind for much of the game. Despite a strong showing in the final quarter, the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

1st quarter (9-15): The opening quarter featured slow offensive starts from both teams, with points coming at a premium. Jana Solee led the Spirit with 5 points, helping keep OUAZ within reach in the early stages.
