Spirit Fall in Tough Loss on the Road Against LPU

San Dimas, Calif.- OUAZ suffers another loss at the hands of Life Pacific in this one. They go down by a score of 71-51 suffering their sixth loss in a row. Fortunately, a great start to the season has kept the team a float as they look to bounce back sooner rather than later.

The Spirit were outscored in three out of four quarters and shot 31.3% from the field cumulatively. Angel Addelman led the scoring for OUAZ with 14 points on 6/15 shooting. Guard Tiana Sledge had herself a nice game as well, scoring 11 points in only 17 minutes on 5/7 shooting playing very efficiently. The Spirit as a team went 1/20 from behind the arc, likely costing them in this one. For Life Pacific, Madison Torres, Faith Schwantner, and Rachel Spinosa all recorded double digit points. Both teams had an equivalent 16 turnovers and Life Pacific managed to lead in boards slightly (43-39).

The Spirit will look to rebound from their losing streak in the upcoming game against Benedictine Mesa on February 12th, 5:30PM (MST), at home in Faith Arena
