FULLERTON, Calif. — The OUAZ Spirit women's basketball team put together a strong, commanding performance through three quarters against the Hope International Royals, showcasing balanced scoring and poised execution. Despite holding the lead for most of the night, the Spirit were forced into a dramatic overtime period, where the Royals ultimately edged ahead to take the win in a hard-fought matchup.

1st quarter (18-10): The Spirit opened the game strong, controlling the first quarter with confidence and energy. Tiana Sledge and Brianna Humphries each scored 6 points as OUAZ set the tone early.

2nd quarter (35-28): OUAZ continued to roll in the second quarter, maintaining control on both ends. Payton Sheridan led the way with 6 points, helping the Spirit extend their lead heading into halftime.
