SURPRISE, Ariz. — The OUAZ Spirit women's basketball team showcased toughness and composure in a hard-hitting matchup against the Park Gilbert Buccaneers. With strong scoring runs and poised responses to every push, the Spirit controlled the game's momentum and secured a well-earned victory.

1st quarter (19-16): The Spirit opened the game in a tight, physical battle with the Buccaneers. Tiana Sledge led the way with 7 points, while Charli Cook added 5 to keep OUAZ neck-and-neck through the opening frame.

2nd quarter (42-31): OUAZ began to create separation in the second quarter with a strong offensive surge. Tiana Sledge, Brianna Humphries, and Tina Reiff each scored 6 points, helping the Spirit take control heading into halftime.

3rd quarter (61-48): The Spirit continued to dictate the pace in the third, maintaining their lead with another commanding period. Jana Solee stepped up offensively, scoring 8 points as OUAZ stayed in front.

4th quarter (83-66): Park Gilbert made a push in the final quarter, but the Spirit held firm and maintained their lead to secure the win. Solee delivered another 8 points, while Sledge added 6 to close out the victory.
