SURPRISE, Ariz. — In front of a packed and energetic crowd, the OUAZ women's volleyball team battled through an electric matchup against the Arizona Christian Firestorm. The energy inside the arena was palpable, with fans fueling every rally and momentum swing. Though the Spirit faced tough competition throughout the night, the home atmosphere brought intensity and excitement to every point in a thrilling contest.

Set 1 (25-22): The opening set against the Firestorm was a tight battle from the start, with both teams trading points and momentum. Lauren Wamsley came out firing with six kills to lead the Spirit offense, while Jessica Pearce added four of her own to keep OUAZ neck and neck in a competitive first frame.

Set 2 (25-22): The second set followed a similar pattern, featuring long rallies and relentless energy from both sides. Wamsley continued her strong play with four kills and an ace, while Gloria Moye made a big impact at the net with five kills. Pearce anchored the defense with three key blocks as the Spirit battled to keep the pressure on the Firestorm.

Bella Reach landed a sharp ace to spark the Spirit's momentum, while Pearce led the way offensively with four kills. Lauren Wamsley etched her name into the OUAZ record books, becoming the all-time program leader in attacks attempted.
