SURPRISE, ARIZ. – The OUAZ women's volleyball team played its second straight contest against Montana State-Northern, this time it was five days later and in a different state. The Spirit took on the Skylights in its home opener, battling back from down 2-1 to take a five-set victory.
Leading 24-21 in the fourth set, the Spirit almost felt a familiar feeling as they let the Skylights score the next three points and tie the score. OUAZ dug in and were able to score the next two points to take the set, and dominated the fifth set to take home the win.
