The OUAZ women's basketball team played well but came up short of a 74-69 score on Saturday inside Faith Arena against Jessup University.  The loss drops the team to 7-9, 0-9 in GSAC play.
 
Four Spirit players scored in double figures, led by sophomore forward Brianna Humphries' 16 points and 13 rebounds.  This is her fifth double-double game of the year and second straight.
 
Forward Makayla Holthaus scored 15 points, guard Angel Addleman had 13, even while being in foul trouble from early in the game, and guard Tatiana Gary came off the bench for 12 points and six assists in 24 minutes of action.
 
The team will travel to Southern California next week to take on Life Pacific (Thursday) and The Master's University (Saturday).  They will stay in the area for their final non-conference game of the season against Bethesda University on Monday, Feb. 12.
