Santa Clarita, CA.- The Spirit give up two second half goals in a loss to The Master's (11-3-1 Overall, 8-2-1 Conference) 3-1. The loss puts the Spirit at 6-6-3 on the year and 4-5-2 in conference play.
The Spirit started the scoring in the 17th minute of play with a goal by Mindy Lertzman (Third of the Season), assisted Karissa Frerichs. The Master's would respond with a goal in the 21st minute by Lauren Park (First on the Season), unassisted. Both defenses would clamp down to head into the half tied at 1-1.
The Master's started the second half scoring with another goal by Hannah Kopp (Second of the Season) in the 59th minute, unassisted. The Mustang's would get another goal in the 79th minute by Bekah Micu (Forth on the Season), assisted by Harmony Rhode. The Spirit would be shut out in the second half, with a final score of 3-1 in the loss to the Mustangs.
