SURPRISE, Ariz. - Head Coach of OUAZ's Men's and Women's Tennis Programs, Sam Murphy, has announced two more signees to the Men's Tennis team Wednesday afternoon.
Coach Murphy announces 18 year-old Nevin Joyce and 17 year-old Shane Ott to join the team this fall. Both Joyce and Ott and hometown talents, with Nevin being from Surprise and Shane from Goodyear.

"Nevin is another player who also got the chance to qualify for state in the Division 2 singles draw. I saw Nevin almost every week this past year as he just watched a lot of our practices. He is a true student of the game and an extremely hard worker who is willing to fight for every point. I'm looking forward to coaching him this year," Head Coach Sam Murphy stated.

"Shane is another local talent we came across late in the spring season. Shane also put on a good showing in the state tournament this year, reaching the Quarterfinals of the Division 1 state tournament for doubles. I think his doubles expertise will bring a lot of value to the team because that is one area we definitely need to improve on," Head Coach Sam Murphy stated.
