SURPRISE, Ariz. -- OUAZ Baseball (14-24-1) dropped Saturday's contest by 16 runs, 18-2 against Arizona Christian.

It was all Arizona Christian from the start, putting up five runs in the second inning. OUAZ put up their lone two runs in that inning as well, on a wild pitch and RBI single from Bradley Wilkison.

Nothing else really went the right way for the Spirit, Jaimen Albizu was the only hitter in the lineup to record multiple hits, with two.

Evan Massie was given the loss, after tossing just 1.1 innings, allowing five runs. Kapono Rawlins was stellar out of the bullpen, throwing 3.2 innings of shutout ball while striking out three in the process.

OUAZ will now play Embry-Riddle on Tuesday night at home, for the season series rubber match. Then they will host their final home games of the year against Westmont.
