Baseball Falls to Hope

Surprise, Arizona - Ottawa Arizona baseball (11-17-1) dropped all three games versus their in-conference opponent, Hope International.

First game of the series ended badly for the Spirit, they gave up 22 runs on 23 hits and lost by a score of 22-7.

Nathan Tarver tallied two hits along with two RBI's and Sergio Alfaro had a solid day with three hits and RBI himself. It was nearly enough with the explosion from the Royals offense.

OUAZ was shutout the following game of the doubleahder, 6-0. They were held to one single hit by Joey Winters.

Justin Brodt was the lone bright spot for the Spirit offense on Saturday, he had a multi-homer game, his first two homers on the season.

The team is back in action on Tuesday in Prescott, Arizona. They will take on Embry-Riddle. Live stream and live stats will be available.
