Nipton, Calif. - For the third time this Spring the OUAZ men's golf team left a course with a trophy in hand. This time the win came at the highly competitive Primm Battle which featured five of the Top 10 ranked NAIA teams, including No. 1 Kaiser, No. 3 Bellevue and No. 4 Victoria - BC. For the sixth-ranked Spirit, it's their fifth win of the year (second most of the Top 10 teams) and fifth straight Top-2 finish dating back to the Fall.
OUAZ was tied for the lead with Arizona Christian after the first day (36 holes) at 2-over par, while Bellevue stood four shots back. In a chilly final round, the Spirit made the shots it needed to in order to hold off Bellevue by two strokes.
