Silvis, Ill.-- The OUAZ men's golf team concluded its 2025-26 season at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship, held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. Competing against the top programs in the country, the Spirit narrowly missed the team cut after the second round of play.
Nick Erickson highlighted the week for OUAZ, making the individual cut after posting a two-round score of +7. Erickson continued through all four rounds of the championship and finished tied for 29th overall with a 294 (+14).
Liam Toole finished just outside the cut line at +8 after two rounds, while Tytan Birchell and Hayden Hah each concluded play at +12. Grant Greazel rounded out the Spirit lineup with a two-round total of +18.
The national championship appearance marked the sixth consecutive season that OUAZ qualified for the NAIA National Championship, continuing the program's sustained success on the national stage. The Spirit also added another GSAC Championship and an NCCAA National Championship during the 2025-26 campaign, closing out another strong season for the program.
