The OUAZ women's basketball squad (5-18 overall and 1-14 in conference play) takes to the road one final time this season for games at Menlo (Feb. 9 @6:30pm MST) and Jessup University (Feb. 11 @1pm MST). Both games can be viewed via live stream through the OUAZ website or by downloading the OUAZ app.

Last Time vs. Jessup
Tiana Sledge posted a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Spirit fell to William Jessup 76-49 inside Faith Arena. OUAZ never led after William Jessup scored the first five points of the game. The visiting Warriors took control of the game early in the second quarter with a 16-3 run that led them to a 17-point halftime advantage. The double-double from Sledge was her ninth this season and fourth in the last six outings. She was the only Spirit player that scored in double figures after making 5 of 12 shots.

And Against Menlo
The struggles of the OUAZ women's basketball team continued with a loss to Menlo 77-49 at Faith Arena. OUAZ never led in dropping a seventh straight contest. Menlo used a 10-2 run early in the first quarter and never looked back. The visitors held the Spirit to 33.3 percent shooting and forced 27 turnovers, converting them into 27 points. Melissa Simmons scored a season-high 16 points off the bench for the Spirit. She tied the team's season-best with four makes from beyond the arc on seven attempts.

Freshman Tiana Sledge ranks second in the conference in rebounding (9.9 rpg). She also stands 13th in the league for scoring (12.5 ppg) and sixth in steals (2.0 spg)…Marlee Johnson stands 28th in the league in scoring (8.7 ppg) and 15th in rebounding (6.3 rpg).
