Spirit Drop Close Match Against Colorado Mesa

Box Score Surprise, Ariz. – The Ottawa Arizona Men's Tennis team lost a nail biter today by the score of 4-3 against Colorado Mesa University.
 
The Spirit started off strong with a two wins in doubles to earn the first point of the match.
 
Goord Adiv and Gianmarce Pitotti have turned out to be quite the duo early on in the season, as they won yet another doubles match 6-2 over their CMU counterparts.
 
Sean Nilshteen and Noah Koeressy bounce back after losing their doubles match yesterday, and win today by the score of 7-5.
 
Adiv and Pitotti were the definite highlights of the day for OUAZ, as they both won their individual matches after winning doubles together. Adiv won 3-6, 7-6, 6-4, and Pitotti won 6-1, 7-5.
 
Spirit move to 1-2 on the year and will be back on the courts next Saturday at home, against Westmont at the Surprise Racquet-Tennis Center.
