Five games into the season, but the OUAZ women's basketball team got their home schedule off to a rousing start by defeating Justice College 96-50 inside Faith Arena.

Brianna Humphries posted 16 points (perfect 8-for-8 shooting) and three steals, while sharing top scorer honors with teammate sophomore
Tiana Sledge.
Already ahead 20-12 after one quarter the Spirit (5-0) blew the game open outscoring Justice College (0-3) by 30 over the next two quarters. At the end, the 46-point win was the third largest in school history and biggest since the fourth quarter against SAGU-American Indian College on Jan. 26, 2021.
