Briana Tucker homered in the fourth to give the Spirit a 1-0 lead. After the Hawks pulled even with a run in the fifth inning, OUAZ went back in front on a bases-loaded walk to Heliana Bueno, and a sacrifice fly from Andraya Rhinehart.

San Diego Christian got one run back in the bottom of the sixth and had the tying run in scoring position, but Alexandra McCutcheon retired the final five Hawks to come to the plate to close out the complete game victory.
