OUAZ Falls to CSUN, 12-4

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – The OUAZ women's water polo team hung around for a half before falling to CSUN on Friday evening at Matador Pool.

OUAZ (8-17) trailed 3-2 at halftime before CSUN (9-10) outscored the Spirit 9-2 in the second half to earn the victory. The Matadors scored the first six goals after halftime to take control of the game.

Rachel Hughes scored two goals for the Spirit on three shots. Cierra Crouch and Jenna Rasmussen had the other two tallies.

OUAZ will close its season on Saturday with a pair of games. They start by facing Cal Lutheran at 2 p.m. before a 5 p.m. contest against Occidental.
