Spirit Sweep Royals to Snap Skid

FULLERTON, Calif. – The No. 2 OUAZ men's volleyball team snapped its two-match losing streak with a 3-0 sweep at Hope International on Saturday afternoon.

OUAZ (21-3, 8-1 GSAC) found its offense in the 25-19, 25-16, 25-22 win with 46 kills and a .427 attack percentage. The Spirit posted at least 13 kills in each set and started the day hitting .500 with 17 kills in the first set.

Quaid King and Jordan Moses posted 11 kills apiece to lead the Spirit. King hit .500 and added five digs, while Moses hit .455 and led the team with eight blocks.

The Spirit limited Hope International (7-12, 1-7) to 36 kills and .227 hitting. OUAZ finished with nine blocks and 29 digs. They also had a 6-0 edge in service aces.

Tyler Gardenhire distributed 39 assists with two aces. Tatum Gray had 10 digs.

OUAZ closes out the regular season on Friday when they host The Master's in Faith Arena at 6 p.m.
