Men’s Volleyball Records Another Sweep

SURPRISE, Ariz. – The No. 2 OUAZ men's volleyball team defeated Simpson on Friday night in three sets to post its third sweep of the week.

Using the 25-16, 25-20, 25-21 victory, OUAZ has now won 14 consecutive matches and is 19-1 on the season.

The Spirit finished the night with a 41-30 advantage in kills, and they hit .296. Simpson (6-5) tallied a .173 attack percentage. OUAZ had a 7-1 edge in aces, and they recorded six blocks and 28 digs.

Emery Outin led all players with 14 kills. Jordan Moses added eight kills, seven digs, and four aces. Addah Nestor totaled seven kills.

OUAZ closes out its six-match homestand on Saturday when they host No. 5 Menlo at 1 p.m. in the GSAC Match of the Week.
