Regular Season Concludes with Loss at ACU

GLENDALE, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's basketball team brought its regular season to a conclusion with a 115-76 loss at Arizona Christian on Saturday afternoon at the ACU Events Center.

OUAZ fell to 6-20 overall and 3-15 in the GSAC with the loss.

Cierra Kiser and Makayla Holthaus scored 16 points apiece to lead the Spirit, with Kiser adding a team-best seven rebounds.

Arizona Christian (21-9, 10-8 GSAC) shot 55.6 percent with 15 threes. They held OUAZ to 37.7 percent from the floor and forced 23 Spirit turnovers.

OUAZ now turns its attention to its first-ever appearance at the GSAC Tournament, where they are the No. 9 seed, and they will face No. 8 seed San Diego Christian on Wednesday in Santa Clarita, California.
