Volleyball Drops Home Match with Life Pacific

SURPRISE, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's volleyball team dropped its home match with Life Pacific in four sets on Saturday afternoon at Faith Arena. The match featured 38 ties, and 13 lead changes before OUAZ (12-10, 7-6 GSAC) fell 30-28, 22-25, 22-25, 22-25.

Life Pacific (12-4, 9-4) used its 62-49 edge in kills and .217 hitting to earn the road win. They also held the Spirit to .155 hitting and just .021 in the fourth set to clinch the win. OUAZ posted nine service aces and six blocks.

Livia De Pra had 17 kills to lead the Spirit, while Rylie Henige added 16 kills on .353 hitting. Jessica Pearce and Payton Treadwell had five kills each. Kenzie Kuxhaus finished with 29 digs, and Pearce had three blocks.

OUAZ will head to the road next weekend, with the trip starting at San Diego Christian on Friday.
