OUAZ Falls to Hope International

SURPRISE, Ariz. – Playing at home for the first time in two weeks, the OUAZ women's basketball team fell to Hope International 80-46 on Thursday night.
 
Virginia Edmondson led OUAZ (5-15, 2-10 GSAC) with 11 points and five assists. Makayla Holthaus added 10 points and four rebounds.
 
Hope International (20-2, 10-2) used an 18-5 second quarter to put the game out of reach. They limited the Spirit to 33.3 percent shooting and forced 21 turnovers.
 
OUAZ returns to action on Saturday when they host San Diego Christian in Faith Arena at noon.
