Hollins Off to Hot Start at MLB Draft League

Coming off helping the OUAZ baseball team advance to the GSAC Championship Series, Jordan Hollins moved onto the new Major League Baseball Draft League where he has helped his Trenton Thunder to a 9-5-2 start and they sit in first-place a little less than a month into the three-month season.

Hollins is batting .302 with a 1.442 OPS in 16 games through June 15. He leads the MLB Draft League with three home runs and 16 RBIs while picking up three doubles and two triples. On June 13, Hollins hit a 3-run walk-off home run to defeat the Williamsport Crosscutters. During this past season for OUAZ, Hollins batted .302 with a .889 OPS and 19 RBIs. He led the Spirit with 12 doubles while adding two triples and one home run.  

The MLB Draft League was created this year to provide a new opportunity for the top draft prospects to showcase their skills against each other and boost their draft stock. Draft League participants will receive unprecedented visibility to MLB Club scouts through both in-person observation and state-of-the-art scouting technology, and educational programming designed to prepare them for careers as professional athletes.
