No. 12 OUAZ Runs Winning Streak to Six with 3-1 Win at Master’s

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The 12th-ranked OUAZ men's volleyball team moved closer to clinching a spot in the GSAC Championship match after securing a 3-1 win at The Master's on Saturday at The MacArthur Center.
 
OUAZ (8-3, 4-0 GSAC) used the 25-21, 25-11, 23-25, 25-18 victory to win for the sixth straight time and they opened a two-game lead in the GSAC East with four matches to play.
 
In one of the top offensive matches of the season for the Spirit, they recorded 52 kills in the four sets and hit .366. That included three sets where they hit .393 or above. Defensively, OUAZ limited The Master's (2-4, 2-2) to 39 kills on .114 hitting.
 
Jordan Moses led the OUAZ attack with 19 kills. Quaid King added 11 kills and Emery Outin finished with 10. Connery Duyck hit .875 with seven kills while adding six blocks and three service aces.
 
OUAZ had four aces as a team and had a 10-6 edge in blocks. They also picked up 32 digs.
 
Tatum Gray had nine digs and Andrew de'Leon tallied 43 assists and six digs.
 
The Spirit will look to tie the school record winning streak of seven straight matches on Wednesday when they travel across town to face Arizona Christian at 6 p.m. in Glendale.
